The call for public submissions to the Independent Review of the Island Regulatory and Appeals Commission (IRAC) has now closed. The submission period was open from June 2, to July 31, 2026.

We are grateful to everyone who took the time to share their perspective. The response was strong, and the interest and input from Island residents and organizations has been valuable to the work of the Review. Every submission adds to the picture the Review is working to understand. 

The Independent Review is now carefully considering all public submissions, following up on the points they raise, and continuing its analysis across the areas within its mandate. This is an important stage, and it deserves close attention. 

We will keep the public informed as the work proceeds. The Review’s final report is due by November 1, 2026.
